Cookies policy
Due to the entry in force of the landmark modification of the “Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información” (LSSICE) set forth in the Royal Decree 13/2012, it is compulsory to obtain the express consent of the user of all the web pages that use dispensable cookies, before the user browses through them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
The cookies and other similar technologies, such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by Internet servers to store and recover information about its visitors, as well as to offer a correct functioning of the site.
By using these devices the Web server is allowed to remember some data concerning the user, such as his preferences for viewing the pages of that server, user name and password, products that interest him most, etc.
COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATION AND EXCEPTED COOKIES
According to the EU directive, the cookies that require the informed consent of the user are the analytical cookies and those of advertising and affiliation, while the excepted cookies are those of a technical nature and those necessary for the functioning of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user.
WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE THERE?
On the types of cookies, there are five large groups:
- Analytical cookies: which collect information about the website’s use.
- Social cookies: which are necessary for external social networks.
- Affiliate cookies: which permit tracking the visits from other websites, with which the website establishes an affiliation contract (affiliated companies).
- Advertising and behavioural cookies: which collect information on the user’s preferences and personal choices (retargeting).
- Technical and functional cookies: which are those strictly necessary for the use of the website and for the provision of the contracted service.
COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE
Listing the names of the cookies, type, owner, function and expiration, for example:
- PHPSESSID: a technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the session identifier. It is eliminated upon closing the browser.
- _lang: a technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the language of the session. It is eliminated upon closing the browser.
- ac_cookies: a technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the value of whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. It expires one year after the last update.
- _ga: a Google Analytics cookie that enables the visit control function of single visits. The first time that a user enters in the website through a browser, this cookie will be installed. When this user returns to the website with the same browser, the cookie will consider that it is the same user. Only in the case where the user changes browsers will it be considered another user. It expires two years from the last update.
- _gat: This cookie is associated with Google’s Universal Analytics. It is used to limit the speed of request - the limitation of the collection of data in the sites with high traffic. It expires after ten minutes.
- _utma: a Google Analytics cookie that records the date of the first and last time that the user visited the website. It expires two years after the last update.
- _utmb: a Google Analytics cookie that records the time of arrival at the website. It expires 30 minutes after the last update.
- _utmc a Google Analytics cookie used for the interoperability with the urchin.js tracking code. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _utmt: a Google Analytics cookie that is used to process the type of application requested by the user. It expires at the end of the session.
- _utmv: a Google Analytics cookie used to segment demographic data. It expires at the end of the session.
- _utmz: a Google Analytics cookie that stores the traffic source or a campaign to explain how the user reached the website. It expires six months after the last update.
REVOCATION OF CONSENT TO INSTALL COOKIES, HOW TO REMOVE COOKIES FROM THE BROWSER

- Select the Tools icon.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Show Advanced Options.
- In the "Privacy" section, click on Content Settings.
- Delete cookies: Click all cookies and data sites …
- Do not allow cookies to be stored
- Click on Clear browsing data (clear your Cache)
- Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer. Version 11
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Click the General tab.
- In the “Exploration history” section, click on delete browsing history on leaving.
- Select Delete files.
- Select Delete cookies.
- Click Delete.
- Click Accept.
- Close and restart the browser.

- Select Firefox | History | Clear recent history.
- Next to “Details”, click on the down arrow.
- Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Cache, Active logins.
- Using the “Time interval to erase” in the drop-down menu, select All.
- Click Clear now.
- Close and restart the browser.
- You can accept or reject cookies individually in Firefox Preferences, in the History section available in Tools > Options > Privacy.
